VOLUNTEER HOST APPLICATION FORM



Thanks for your contribution in being a member of the CresFest volunteer family. The 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 festivals were a great success and that was largely due to the volunteers who helped everything run so smoothly.
 

The form below is for people volunteering to host performers/volunteers in their home or other private accommodation over the CresFest weekend, 10-12 April 2026. Please complete it as soon as possible or by Sunday 31st Aug 2025.

We now include volunteers as well as artists because we have a number of excellent volunteers, often young & without transport, who do volunteer work on early or night shifts and need somewhere in town that helps them easily get to their designated volunteer tasks.  We hope that you will all be open to hosting a volunteer or an artist, but if you are only interested in hosting an artist, please state this in the Notes section at the end of the form.

All we require is:

  • a spare bed(s)
  • a clean guest room(s) or house
  • secure parking on site or close by
  • and that you provide breakfast for them each morning.
  • a temporary house key for the artist is also appreciated, so that they have the freedom to come and go throughout the festival
       OR
  • Space for people to camp in tents, campervans or caravans on your property.

En-suite bathrooms are not necessary and any other meals are your choice after discussions with your allocated artist. 

Hosts will be rewarded with a free weekend pass (or 2 x 1 day passes) for the festival.

We try to locate artists as close to Creswick as possible.  We will give priority to hosts who live within a 10km radius of Creswick, but this does not exclude people who live further out.

We try to ensure that you are given all the support and information that you require. You're welcome to contact me if you have any questions or comments about billeting. 

Help foster joy, dance and music in the beautiful heritage town of Creswick! Both we as organisers and the artists really appreciate your generosity in opening your home to a stranger during the festival. We could not run the festival without this kind of generosity.
